I'm a passionate reader. There's a great number of genres and authors on my personal top-list, but a special place is held by so-called neo-gothic style, with such writers as Neil Gaiman and Diane Setterfield. This is an absolutely unique mix of mystery, drama, surrealism and most incredible events which manage to make an impression of being absolutely natural ones.

So when the idea of this piece of artwork came to my mind (already pre-formed, as it quite often happens), the first thing I understood about it - it had its roots in those neogothic books mentioned above.
