Koumiss is the oldest drink of nomadic tribes of Central Asia and Mongolia. The ancient Greek historian Herodotus mentions koumiss, calling it "milk wine", according to which the Scythian tribes guarded the secret of preparing this miraculous drink so carefully that they blinded all captives who knew the recipe for its preparation.

Production of koumiss is not just a culinary tradition, but also an effective way to improve health and fight many diseases.

DIRECTIONS
Koumiss has a pronounced antimicrobial activity, significant nutritional value and the ability to stimulate biological processes in the body. Antibiotic substances koumiss create resistance to infection, negatively affect the vital activity of tubercle bacillus, typhoid fever and dysentery.

It is used for stomach ulcers, chronic gastritis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis, atherosclerosis, hypertension;
Lactic bacteria favorably affect the digestive system, increase the secretion of gastric juice, fat-splitting substances of the pancreas and gallbladder;
Bacteria koumiss negatively affect the reproduction and development of putrefactive microorganisms and Escherichia coli, and lactic acid bacteria have a stimulating effect on hematopoiesis and blood circulation;
Koumiss promotes youthfulness of the skin and the body as a whole, regulation of metabolism, both for weight reduction and weight gain;
Kumysol treatment is widely used after severe, debilitating diseases, this drink has a beneficial effect on the nervous system, contributing to a strong calm sleep and disappearance of irritability.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Half a liter of low-fat milk should be poured into a liter PET bottle, add a tablespoon of sugar and a teaspoon of starter "Kumys", the bottle should be periodically shaken. Keep the drink at 22 degrees Celsius for 24 hours, (you can put it on a heater).

Depending on the method of preparation, type of leavening koumiss is obtained in different varieties: strong, up to 4.5% ethyl alcohol, and weakly leavened, usually containing from 0.2% to 2.5% ethyl alcohol.

Doctors recommend drinking koumiss, starting with small portions - 50-250 ml, gradually bringing the dose to 1 liter per day, 6 times during the day, 1-1.5 hours before meals. Use at least a glass in the morning for at least three months, keep in the refrigerator.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Acute diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
Lactose intolerance.
