Originally designed as quick, easy baby hats to work up and donate to charity, these little heart beanies can be whipped up fast, and do not require much yarn - they are lovely items to make to use up all those leftovers!
The written crochet pattern (in US terms) provides instructions for both ‘newborn’ size and ‘baby’ size beanies (please note: sizes are only a guide; individual head size may vary).
Apart from the yarn (DK) and a 4.00 mm crochet hook, the only additional material required is a darning needle, with which to weave in the ends.
(If you have quite a tight crochet tension, I would suggest using a hook that is .5 mm larger, in order to obtain a similar gauge.)
