Pocahontas princess Russian nesting dolls matryoshka cartoon character art painted

This work was commissioned by a woman who saw our first Pocahontas work (Russian matryoshka dolls Pocahontas cartoon heroes nesting d - Inspire Uplift), she wanted to make all three dolls in the person of the main character of the animated musical historical drama film.

Made of linden wood, acrylic paints, glossy varnish.
Size is 16 cm. / 6.3 " (height of the first doll).

Matryoshka usually has 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 dolls inside. This is the most widespread number of dolls in sets of Russian nested dolls. Since a set of three dolls is the minimum size, as a rule, this set has a height of the first doll from 8 to 12 cm. (4 ") average. But the customer wanted to paint three dolls but larger, so we took a matryoshka doll of 5 dolls measuring 16 cm. (6 ") and painted the first three of them. The matryoshka doll turned out to be larger and the third doll also opens.
