This fabulous Russian Orthodox icon is made of solid wood using an ancient Russian technique with transverse beams, which prevent the curvature of the wood over time. This handcrafted icon -Saint Vladislav of Serbia, has been produced using paint and decoupage methods. The halos are painted with fine colors similar to pure gold.
