Sold as not working (for parts). Shutter can be cocked but pushing the release button makes no effect. Right curtain remains opened. Rangefinder and dioptric adjustment work properly. Body has signs of age. One screwbolt is absent on the front. Lens is not included, body only. Take-up spool is not included.
History of the camera
"Zorki-3C" was made in 1955-1956 by Krasnogorsky Mechanical Plant named after Zverev (KMZ), Krasnogorsk, USSR. This is the improved version of "Zorki-3M".
The differences are: synchrocontact for cable flash added, upper part was changed, button for turning on backwind was changed.
Totally 45 572 cameras were made.
Camera has a united viewfinder and rangefinder with one common eyepiece. Eyepiece got a built-in dioptric adjustment (+/- 2 dioptres).
Camera can use standard film cassetes and dual cylinder cassettes from Leica. Default lenses are "Jupiter-8"(2/50), "Jupiter-17"(2/50). Of course, all lenses with M39 mount (Leica thread-mount) fit this camera.
Shutter is cloth, horizontal movement. Has shutter speeds: B, 1, 1/2, 1/5, 1/10, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, 1/250, 1/500, 1/1000.
Camera has aluminium body with removable rear cover.
Has tripod socket 3/8" and cold shoe.
On the base of this camera "Zorki-4" was produced with self-timer.
