Goethea shawl — is a traditional triangular shawl with gentle and beautiful lace and nupp stitch patterns. The lightweight shawl wrap is ideal for pairing with dresses and adding a touch of elegant to any look.

• This is a classic triangular shawl worked in one piece top down.
• There are 144 rows in the sample, but the size of the shawl is easily adjustable.
• Gauge is not crucial for this project.
• This pattern is available in English.
• Skill level: medium.

For knitting the shawl you will need:

• You will need 50-100 gr of Lace weight yarn with the most natural fiber content such as wool, merino wool, linen, or blends (alpaca with silk, merino wool with silk, etc.).
• Notions: 40-inch (100 cm) circular needles, 2 markers, row counter (optional), blocking pins, crochet hook (optional).

Cream sample:
Yarn: Soft Dream by BBB filati, Lace (70% Mohair, 30% Silk), 219 yards / 0.88 ounces ( 200m / 25 grams).
Yardage: 438 yds / 400 m.
Needles: US 6 (4 mm).
Finished measurements (after blocking):
wingspan 71’’ (180 cm),
depth 31.5’’ (80 cm).
