Papain is a plant proteolytic enzyme. The raw material is the unripe juice of papaya (melon tree). The substance participates in the processes of cellular metabolism, breaking down protein compounds, fats and carbohydrates. In cosmetology, papain is used for the manufacture of luxury cosmetics and professional skin care products.

Papain properties:

effectively breaks down dead cells;
used as a gentle herbal peel for all skin types;
intensifies metabolic processes in the epidermis layer;
rejuvenates aging skin;
has an anti-inflammatory effect.
