Crushed raw materials: single spherical baskets, small, sometimes 2-3 together, individual flower beds and their pieces with the remains of wrapper leaves, individual wrapper leaves and tubular flowers, pieces of stems and peduncles, fruits passing through a sieve with a hole size of 7 mm. The color is lemon yellow with orange, grayish-brown, greenish-gray, rarely dark brown inclusions.
The smell is faint and fragrant. The taste of water extraction is spicy-bitter.

Pharmacodynamics
Infusion of flowers of the sand immortelle has a choleretic effect.
Indications
In complex therapy for chronic non-calculous cholecystitis and hepatitis, biliary dyskinesia, with changes in the composition of bile with the risk of developing cholelithiasis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, gastritis in the acute stage, acute pancreatitis, gallstone disease, pregnancy, lactation, children under 12 years of age.
Method of administration and dosage
10 g (3 tablespoons) of sand immortelle flowers are placed in a glass or enameled dish, 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water is poured, covered with a lid and insisted on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered through a double layer of gauze, the remaining raw materials are squeezed out. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 200 ml with boiled water .
Take in a warm form 1/3 cup 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals. The course of treatment is 20-25 days.
It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.
