Wanted an option to tracing on a window or a plate of glass with a light beneath it. It's not as bright as I'd hoped, but it's enough to be functional for what I use it for. That, and it's easy to store when not in use being so flat and light (no pun intended). Instructions included (as if you wouldn't know what it's for? *shrug*) suggest using in a dark(ened) room. Good idea. ;) Decent for the money, but if you need bigger, buy or DIY.

Brilliant idea. I have a 'normal' light box which can be bit difficult to use due to the slope. This one is fantastic , flat and powered with normal tablet/phone cord with up to three levels of brightness.

I GAVE IT TO OUR GRAND DAUGHTER 11 YERS OLD. SHE HAS TAKEN LOTS OF DRAWING CLASSES..SHE LOVES THIS LED TRACE TABLET. I ASK HER BROTHERS IF SHE LIKED IT. This item is one of a kind. It really helps to see the painting so much easier to paint it then to use just the naked eye without the use of the lighted table. I now have 2 of them and would not be without them.

My plan was to try copy/trace some of my paintings as line drawings, but as paper is thick this wasn't possible. However if its on lighter weight paper its fine. Its a neat slimline device its nearly impossible to imagine how a USB connects but it does. I'm happy with purchase.
