Harry is unexpectedly entered into the dangerous Triwizard Tournament. He faces deadly tasks, sees the return of Voldemort in full power, and witnesses the death of a fellow student, Cedric Diggory.
Book 5: The Order of the Phoenix
The wizarding world refuses to believe Voldemort is back. Harry deals with the corrupt Ministry of Magic and cruel professor Umbridge, and leads "Dumbledore’s Army." It ends in tragedy with the death of Sirius Black.
Book 6: The Half-Blood Prince
Harry learns about Voldemort’s past and the secret of Horcruxes — objects containing pieces of his soul. Dumbledore is killed by Snape, who is revealed to be the Half-Blood Prince.
Book 7: The Deathly Hallows
Harry, Ron, and Hermione leave Hogwarts to destroy Voldemort’s Horcruxes. The final battle at Hogwarts leads to Voldemort’s defeat. Many characters are lost, but peace is restored to the wizarding world.
