Hi! We are artisans and artists who had to relocate due to the recent war in Ukraine, some of us fled the war, some of us fled political prosecution, and some of us are from mixed families. Not all were as fortunate as us and every day we thank our good fortune to be alive and well and be able to work right now. We found refuge in a small beautiful country called Georgia and here we are trying to rebuild our lives. Most of us are blacksmiths, woodworkers, and engravers – we decided to open a workshop and start by doing what we do best – knives and blades. If all goes well, we hope to expand and provide more workplaces to more artisans in need. All of the works you see here are designs created by our founder Katy, she lives in the UK but she has previously worked with several indie smithies as a designer of knives. She was able to contact us and suggest we take our equipment and relocate to Georgia (she was born there). Her birthplace met us with hospitality and great conditions to continue our life’s work. Today we are working every day, trying to rebuild our logistics chains and delivery methods, fixing the roof in our new workshop and of course making knives. We are starting small, but we aim to recover, rebuild and show the world that friendship will outlive conflict. Every penny we earn will go towards providing more artisans and artists in need with work and a place to stay – we aim to help a lot of people.
