Not so long ago, the "Rattan" pattern became popular among knitters. 
It got its name for the similarity of the finished product with rattan furniture. 
Like all patterns, it requires a certain skill and patience. The pattern fits perfectly on round-shaped products. And my tutorial is just right for getting acquainted with this knitting direction! 
Take a yarn that looks like a folded 7 mm wide ribbon made of 100 % cotton knitwear.

For knitting, you will need 3 skeins of yarn with a length of 50 meters each - only about 150 meters.   

* The diameter of the finished bag is about 25cm/9.8"
