Author: Chief portrait painter of Lenin and Stalin - Brodsky Isaak Izrailevich (1883-1939) - Soviet and Russian painter and graphic artist, since 1934 - director of the All-Russian Academy of Arts.

Historical reference: The portrait was part of a propaganda stand at the Palace of Culture of the Communist Party of the USSR in Yekaterinburg. After the collapse of the USSR in 1991, it was dismantled and sent for metal remelting. "Saved" (cut with scissors for metal - has uneven edges) by caring workers and preserved as a memory of the bygone era of the USSR.
