This busy mat is great for developing fine motor skills and keeping your hands busy.  In accordance with  the fabrics used , it would be a useful gift for a man with dementia or Alzheimer's.
    Size is about 42.5 cm x 52.5 cm ( 17 x 21 inches). Made from a layers of cotton and fleece, between them a layer of padding polyester.
    The mat has a set of various sensory elements:
- lacing with a fixed lace,
- a small fur pad for tactile sensations (it has a smooth fabric on the reverse side),
- laces for weaving,
- sliding buckle,
- button for fastening,
- zipper with patterned grosgrain ribbon at the bottom,
- gray plastic element with screw-on parts,
- 2 buckles,
- a wooden ring attached with a metal snap button,
- fringe with a bell,
- two wooden shaped beads rotating around their axis,
- securely sewn mesh fabric with buttons for movement,
- a purse  with a zipper (inside you will find a strong cord with wooden beads on it),
-under purse there is a small frame for a photo, drawing, note, etc. ( the picture with the bird is shown as an example )
