It is made of polymer clay using the sculptural miniature technique. The brooch is embellished with precious stones:
Lunar Adularia, Pearl, Opalite, Swarovski Crystal

The Latin name "Acherontia atropos", "dead head" comes from Greek mythology. Acheron in mythology is one of the 5 rivers in the underworld of the dead, and the word "Acheron" was also used to denote the depth and horrors of the underworld. "Atropos" inexorable, inevitable fate (death) is the name of the goddess of fate, cutting the thread of human life. The insect is also found in Christian culture, which few people know about. Quite often you can find the image of "Hawk Moth" on the hand of Jesus Christ. In Christianity, the butterfly represents the life cycle of the son of God: life, death, resurrection.
