The doily is crochet in rounds, starting from the center, without breaking thread (27 rounds in total). 
Pattern is a CHART with symbols explanation in English, US crochet terminology, NO explanation round by round. You must know how to read complex crochet charts to make this doily.
 
Materials: cotton yarn with a density of 50 g per 300 m (about 250 m in total),  crochet hook 1.25 mm.
When using such materials, the dimensions of the finished doily are about 25 cm, the diameter of the central circle with an owl is about 12-13 cm.

The diagram is difficult to interpret at the start of the rounds. I would have preferred written instructions to go with it. But I am managing

I cannot read diagrams. I requested the seller provide me with the first few rows in the hopes that I could follow from there. I received no answer.
