Shadowboxes.  A fragment of the house, the door and what can meet you on the porch. And children's sleds and skis, a snowman and a Christmas tree. Everything is a little covered with snow, but from the illumination and the created mood you already feel the approach of Christmas!

This shadow box is - open wooden box 25cm x 14cm x 8cm. With few exceptions, most of the pieces were made by my self. Was hand-picked from a wooden work piece, recycled books, cardboar, wires, junk jewellery and a whole lot of patience. With lighting from 2 round batteries (included), you can spend hours looking at the details.
Everything is glued down.

A lot of love was invested in this project, it was prepared for 3 weeks. I love putting these boxes, making all the fittings and collecting things to go inside, creating a 3D portrait of a small piece of the house.

Made to be placed within the books on a shelf, this decorative piece would also work as a stand alone piece of art.

Or it can be hung on the wall, for this there are the necessary fasteners at the back. 

This is not a toy and is unsuitable for children.  Are intended for adult collectors only. But it can become a night light in the nursery, away from children.
