Clinical Pharmacology
Local anesthetic.
Indications
- external and internal hemorrhoids;
- erosion and anal fissures;
- anal itching;
- eczema;
- dermatitis of the perianal region.
Composition
In 1 candle:Hydrocortisone acetate 10 mg (0.5%), zinc sulfate monohydrate 11 mg (0.55%);.
Excipients: Cocoa bean oil 1974.2 mg (98.71%), methyl parahydroxybenzoate 0.4 mg (0.02%), propyl parahydroxybenzoate 0.4 mg (0.02%), calcium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous 2 mg (0.1%), magnesium stearate 2 mg (0.1%).
Dosage and Administration
The drug should be used after hygiene.
Suppositories are introduced into the rectum in the morning, at night, and after each bowel movement. Adults and children over 12 years old are recommended to administer 1 suppository up to 4 times / day.
Children under the age of 12 years, the drug is prescribed under medical supervision.
Adverse reactions
Local reactions: hyperemia, itching.
Allergic reactions are possible.
Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity to the ingredients of the drug, bacterial, fungal, viral infection in the area of drug administration, neoplasms of the anorectal zone, tuberculosis, Itsenko-Cushing's syndrome, severe forms of diabetes mellitus, hypernatremia, pregnancy and lactation.

Pregnancy and Lactation

Overdosage

It is assumed that long-term use in high doses can lead to the same consequences as the systemic use of excessive doses of corticosteroids: hyperglycemia, hypernatremia, Itsenko-Cushing's syndrome, immunosuppression, erosions and ulcers of the gastrointestinal tract, osteoporosis, etc.
