It is very easy to use, although it doesn't open to full soze automatically which can be a pain.

Very easy to reveal. Pefect magic trick staff. Quite a lot more solid than expected which is great. Haven't learnt the knack of getting it closed quickly yet

I ride an EUC, (electronic uni cycle ), which are very prone to dog off the leash attacks. This product can be, extracted, deployed and utilsed in under five seconds with practice. You won't drive off ten trained ninjas with this item, but a short, sharp strike on a dogs muzzle WILL deter a dog. Modern dogs aren't starving or protecting offspring so they're not playing for keeps. A quick rap on the nose will send them on their way. Bottom line, this is a fucking good investment if used for the right situation. I've bought this item for friends who also ride solo wheels and have the same problem with dogs. I live in North Queensland Australia, the last one I bought for a friend was in Victoria. Dog attacks, are an on ongoing problem, so a small protectant tool is a nobrainer. If you buy this item, practice, until it can be deplyed safely, it is strong, wicked, and could take an eye out. It is best used holding it about 300mm from the large end, (the small, strong end is the striking point). Hopes this helps.

When I first opened it, I accidentally released the catch, and it opened into the full length. And I couldn't get it back to the carrying size. Just now, I figured out how to do it and now realise how easy it is to do.

When it arrived [the second one; I never received the first one], I accidentally opened it. It took a few hours till I figured it out. The magic staff is cool.

An interesting little gadget. Although it took forever to arrive, i got what i expected. Easy to open, tough to close, but definitely a conversation piece.

I like it a lot, hope they hate it a lot when I am forced to use it! It springs into a full sized riot baton, is rigid, easily maneuvered, and come September it will be legal to use in Texas (along with brass knuckles, for self-defense). I recommend it without hesitation. As an over-80-year old guy, this is perfect for me. Dick

Its actually the second one . The first one believe it or not was stolen from my car. So I decided to buy a new one. Pro - compact , easy to open and probably VERY EFFECTIVE./ did not have a chance to use/ . Anyway its must have stuff to keep in the car. Even in Canada bad stuff might happen and better be ready and safe then sorry. I rather see the bad guys suffer then put my family or myself at risk.

Arrived on time and appears exactly as described. Easy to activate, but a little difficult when you are putting it back into its compact form. Hint - unwind it a little bit before trying to collapse it and it is much easier.

Good unit once i worked it out only took a few minutes so now i will carry it everywhere

This expandable metal staff exceeded my expectations, you have to practice a little to get the hang of it, but it is all worthwhile.
