1950s wooden chess set made in USSR. Original 63 years old gift.

LENOBLISPOLKOM.
Part of the stamp has been erased due passed time, the manufacturer is some kind of furniture factory in the Leningrad region, which is part of the LENDREVMEBELPROM trust.
Chess Box made in 1959.

These chess figures are one of the 1950s-early 1960s modifications of the classic Mordovian chess pieces, which had been produced from the late 1940s until 1957, they can often be seen in red and black. The same style just the knight endured the change most of all, it became more compact, shot down so, less figured, like a bulldog.

Board is 40×40 cm.
King is 9.7 cm.
Pawn is 4 cm.
