Oredezh is a settlement in the Luga district of the Leningrad Region of Russia. The administrative center of the Oredezhsky rural settlement.

For several decades, until the end of Perestroika, the Oredezhsky Woodworking Plant, better known as the Oredezhsky DOZ (later a branch of the Luga Woodworking Plant), remained one of the largest chess manufacturers in the Soviet Union. In the mid-seventies, 13,000 sets of chess were produced monthly in Oredezh (Luga district).

King`s height is about 12 cm.
Pawn`s height is 6.7 cm.

Damages: old condition, see all the photos, kings have no their original finials (push pins instead), board is without hooks, shabby surface of the board, some pieces are from another but similar the same style chess set, one black knight is bad condition.
