Ceramic round box prosphora is designed to store prosfor, artos or antidor in it.

In many families there is a pious tradition in the morning, along with holy water, to eat a piece of the prosphora brought from the temple. In order for the prosphora to be well stored, they must be cut into pieces, dried and folded into a glass or ceramic vessel, for example, in a jar with a lid or a prosfornitsa.
