Instruments and materials needed for this tutorial 
(most of them can usually be easily found in our garages):
1. Wire. I use copper wire, but you can use any that you want.
              14 Ga - 40 inches (100 cm)
              21 Ga - 2 pieces of 18 inches (45 cm) and 30 inches (75 cm)
              24-26 Ga - 8 inches (20 cm)
2. Scotch tape
3. Ribbon, a piece of 20 inches (50 cm)
4. Cup or any hard tube of 2.9 inches (7.5 cm) in diameter
5. Template (attached to this lesson)
6. Thin liner/marker
7. Ruler
8. Round nose pliers (preferably but not necessary)
9. Chain nose pliers
10. Wire cutters
11. Hammer
12. Scissors
13. Anvil
