Giraffe lovey is a great project for newborn and perfect gift for baby.

The pattern requires basic crochet knowledge. You should be familiar with:
- Magic Ring /Adjustable ring
- Single Crochet
- Increasing (singe crochet 2 stitches in the same stitch)
- Decreasing (single crochet 2 stitches together)
- Slip Stitch
- Chain Stitch
- Treble Crochet

Material you need:
• 2.5 mm hook (or 2.00 mm)
• Cotton yarn
(I used Alize cotton baby “soft”, 50% cotton)
- Light yellow
- Brown
• Black embroidery thread
• Stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker

The size of the giraffe lovey is approximately 25 cm long with ears. It may vary though depending on the kind of yarn and hook size used.

You can also use any color of yarn.
