This written crochet patterns bundle (in US terms) provides instructions to make an elephant rattle, a unicorn rattle, and a panda rattle.


Elephant Rattle:

The handle of the rattle is about 12 cm long, and is easy for little hands to grasp. A large bell inside the head (with three smaller bells placed inside) makes a jingle noise when the rattle is shaken, and cellophane inside the ears makes them crinkle when moved. Textured or satin ribbons for mane and tail are nice ‘feely’ details for babies to play with.

Panda Rattle:

The pattern calls for a 3.50 mm crochet hook, black and white DK yarn, as well as seven different yarn colours (also DK), to create a rainbow effect: a shade of dusty pink, pale orange, pale yellow, mint green, turquoise, pale blue, and lilac.
