This is a small cup made from a single piece of birch burl, the outer side is not processed with chisels, only the bark is removed. Any wooden utensils require maintenance. For a long lasting mug, do not wash it in the dishwasher or use detergents.
I recommend periodically lubricating a dry cup with natural oil suitable for contact with food (for example, linseed oil or special oil for wooden dishes).
