"Flowers on the water"

Dimensions: 16x16 inches on stretched canvas.

A nice present for your friends and relatives as well as a lovely decor for your living room or office.

An abstract painting that comes to life on a canvas decorated with acrylic colors and intriguing mastichin texture.
At first glance, the descending branches of a weeping willow tree occupying the top of the canvas catch the eye. These branches, painted with a skillful combination of shades of green, gracefully hang down like a curtain, partially concealing the landscape. They seem to whisper secrets to the viewer, inviting him to look deep into the painting.
Through the veil of willow branches there is a calm pond reflecting the soft glare of the sun. The surface of the pond seems mirrored, it is slightly twitched by a light breeze, bringing a soothing rustle of leaves overhead.
The centerpiece of this aquatic oasis is a lush cluster of delicate pink nymphaea, or water lilies. These graceful flowers dance on the surface of the water, their petals seemingly illuminated from within. The pale pink hues harmonize with the deep green of the pond's underwater foliage, creating a mesmerizing visual juxtaposition.
The artist's use of acrylic paints with mastichin gives the canvas a characteristic texture that enhances the sensory experience. The willow branches and the surface of the water come alive with tactile details, inviting the viewer to reach out and feel the light rippling of the leaves or the cool, smooth touch of the reflection in the water.

The painting is based on the works of artist Nelly Lestrade.

This painting is covered with acrylic lacquer which protects it from dust and water clean and prevents discoloration.

Due to lighting effects and the monitor's brightness/contrast settings etc., the color tone of the website's photo and the actual item could, allows it to be be slightly different.
