I suggest you knit a doll in an outfit decorated with traditional Russian embroidery pattern.

Doll body is knitted on double pointed needles in one piece from bottom to top. You can knit it on 2 straight knitting needles. Do all the increases and decreases as instructed. Just make a backseam.

The base of the toy, head, hands and headdress are crocheted.

To make a doll, you need:

* Red, white, beige and brown yarn;

* A little golden metallized yarn;

* Red satin ribbon;

* Double pointed needles;

*Crochet hook matching your yarn;

*A bit of cardboard;

* Double sided tape;

*Beads, rhinestones or other accessories;

*Hollow fiber stuffing;

* *Safety eyes 9 mm;

*Sewing needle;

*Scissors.

Abbreviated terms used:

K – knit

M1 – make one (add stitch)

K2 – knit 2 stitches together

MR – magic ring

ch – chain stitch

sc – single crochet

dc – double crochet

trc – treble crochet

dtr – double treble crochet

ss – slipped stitch

inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)

This pattern is at an easy/intermediate level. Previous amigurumi experience is recommended. You need to know how to single crochet in the round, increase, decrease, slip stitch, and change color. You need to know how to work garter stitch, stockinette stitch.
