To sew this square neck top choose knit fabrics with the following properties:
Light to medium weight, single jersey stretch.

The fiber content can include: synthetic or natural like (cotton, polyester + spandex), (cotton+nylon+spandex)

The top fits best with knit single jersey fabric that is composed by cotton+spandex (like 95% cotton+5% spandex). You can also make this top by woven fabric like cotton+spandex or any kind of spandex blended fabric.

But weight should be light to medium.

When you make this garment you should use spandex blended fabric as this garment is very fitted to the body. Spandex fabric increase the flexibility that you need for body movement & comfortability
