GOI Helios 27 135mm 2.0 is a prototype of an early high-aperture cine lens made in 1946 by GOI (State Optical Institute) in LENINGRAD. Information is available in the GOI catalog. Very rare, only two other than thislenses are known with numbers 4348, 4351.
The lens is in perfect condition, from storage. The body is almost without defects. Glass without scratches and traces of cleaning, without dust inside. The diaphragm rotates smoothly.
A focusing helicoid with an M42 mount was made. Through an adapter, the lens can be mounted on any full-frame or medium format camera.
Optical design - planar, 6 elements. Early, optics without coating. Covers medium format. The lens is sharp, has a natural color reproduction, beautiful picture and bokeh.
