Soviet Grandmaster Mikhail Tal "Match Botvinnik - Tal". Very Rare Lifetime Edition 1961. Publisher: Latvian State Publishing House. Pages: 224. 1961 year.

The book is dedicated to the Match for the title of World Chess Champion in 1960 in which Mikhail Tal won and became the Eighth World Champion.

Annotation: In this book, Mikhail Tal tried to convey his subjective experiences, thoughts, worries and disappointments from single combat. Each game is preceded by a short introduction, which tells about the mood before the game, or there are small lyrical digressions - the author shares the thoughts that followed him during the match. Tal in an expanded form tries to reveal to the reader the process of the dialectical development of a chess game, starting from the opening. The reader will find at the end of the book a small illustrative material: individual games that are most typical for a particular system encountered in a match. The above games were considered by Tal in the process of preparing for the match, so to speak, they were lying on his desk.
