Detailed and easy PDF PATTERN to create a crochet Zebra Finch!

Level of difficulty:

Average.

You should master basic crocheting skills.

The size of the toy when using 200m/50g mercerized cotton is approx. 11 cm.

Materials needed:

1.Yarn for crocheting:

- Cotton mercerized, or other yarn of identical weight  (color white, light gray, dark gray). Weight 200m/50g.

2.Yarn for feet: 

- Any light yarn of beige or grey color

3.Crochet hook (choose the hook size based on the recommendations for the yarn you are using). I used 1.15 mm hook

4.Black plastic eyes size 2-3 mm.

5.Wire D=0.5-0,6 mm approx. 70 cm long for feet (8 pcs 8 cm each)

6.Small eye needle to sew on the bird’s wings and fastening off. 7 cm long needle to make sculpting for eyes.

7.Craft glue or any other strong glue to glue on eyes. PVA glue for feet.

8.Stuffing material: holofiber.

9.Acrylic paints in orange, brown, black and white to decorate the bird. A stiff brush with a short pile and a toothpick to apply the paints.

10.Red polymer clay for making the beak.
