On April 24, 1975, Anatoly Karpov was presented with the laurel wreath of the world chess champion. The chess crown returned to the Soviet Union again. In the book of the first Soviet world chess champion M. Botvinnik, all 43 games played by Anatoly Karpov in three candidate matches, which brought the young grandmaster to the chess Olympus, are commented.
