This is a hand painted wooden brooch featuring an Buff-tailed coronet hummingbird.

The bird brooch is hand cut of 4mm thick plywood, hand painted and coated with a glossy resin. 
Japan made safety pin with a rotatory clasp is attached to its back so it can easily decorate your bag, jacket, hat and so on.

Please, try not to submerge in water (shower, bath, laundry, swimming pool). The brooch is varnished all around so must be ok with a light rain though. Hard impact may cause scratches, so handle with care and keep away from sharp objects and rough surfaces. This piece is not intended for small children or animals. Clean and polish with a cotton round or a soft cloth with comes with your piece of jewelry.
