A dozen bobbins of beautiful plum wood. Made by hand, carefully sanded and treated with wax and linseed oil.

In terms of mechanical properties, plum wood is similar to the cheaper and more common cherry, but much harder. In terms of hardness, it approaches oak and occupies one of the first places. Plum is valued primarily for its appearance. Outwardly, it looks like a cherry tree, but much darker and more beautiful.
