Materials on German rocket armament". Paperback. Pages 40. Size 218 X 138 mm. The book was published in 1947 in Moscow. Seller Notes: “Very Good condition of the books. No missing pages. See foto.” The book was not intended for free sale. This book contains two works of the German scientist in the field of thermochemistry of explosives and propellants, Professor Albert Schmidt, who worked at the State Chemical-Technical Institute in Germany as the head of the department of explosives and propellants. First work: "Considerations on the kinetics of the reaction of powder combustion in a rocket chamber." This work was written in 1945. It deals with some issues related to the study of the mechanism of combustion of gunpowder at low pressures and possible ways to eliminate the anomalous phenomena that may take place. The second work: "Reactive effect, its dependence on the composition of the propellant charge and on the nature of explosive decomposition" is the author's report to the Reactive Department of the Armaments Directorate of the German Army (Wa Pruff 11) in August 1942. The report investigates the equation of the gas outflow velocity through the nozzle opening of the rocket chamber. Translated from German into Russian, edited by Major-Engineer L. Penn.
