Beautiful handmade brass pendant on a chain Beregynia. Bereginies are female spirits, the personification of maternal protection against all evil;  guardian spirits of homes and families.  The name Beregynia comes from the word "berech" - to protect, preserve. On this ukrainian pendant Berehynia holds a trident, a symbol of Ukraine and its independence
