Portrait painting of a matryoshka doll in traditional Russian style with custom elements. The matryoshka doll was ordered as a gift to an Englishman spouse working in Russia by his wife. We dressed the matryoshka doll in Russian traditional clothes, but in order to emphasize the insular identity of the husband, on the advice of the customer, he was handed a cup of tea with a saucer. The spouse, in addition to bread and salt - a Russian tradition to meet guests, wished to keep an old key. The girls were painted one with a favorite treat and the other with a favorite toy.

Made of linden wood, acrylic paints, glossy laquer.
Size is 20-21 cm. / 8 inches (height of the biggest doll).
