Item description from the seller

⚡ An ancient symbol of the Norse Tradition, depicting the weapon of the Thunder god Thor (Donar), the protector of the worlds and the intercessor of people, the Hammer of Thor, or Mjolnir, has also become one of the key symbols of the resurgent paganism. Hammer replicas were popular in Scandinavia, people wore them around their necks as amulets. They were also used in sacred ceremonies - weddings were consecrated to them. They were put under the bed of the newlyweds so that they would have many children. After the adoption of Christianity, people for a long time still wore both a cross and an amulet - a copy of Mjolnir.

Absolutely wonderful pendant, and extremely authentic to the archeological find. Will not often find myself without wearing this.
