Chandra, Sanskrit for moon, is the Vedic lunar deity. Chandra is one of the nine primary celestial beings in Hindu Vedic astrology who are the agents of the Law of Karma. The yantra shows the moon’s symbol, the Zodiac sign that the Moon rules, and the mantras associated with the ruling deity, Shri Krishna Gayatri.
