Soviet wooden chess set 1950s vintage.
Rare chess set. Not mass production, it looks like a private handmade work.

Board is 40×40 cm., square is 4.6 cm.
Height of the king is 9.5 cm., it is the height of the white king, black king has smaller finial.
Height of the pawn is 4.3 cm.

Chessmen are weighted. The type of weighting is similar to a stone.
Weight of the chess set is 1.12 kg.

Craft-cooperative artel “Kooperativny Put`” (Cooperative Way).
This artel, apparently after the nationalization of the artels in the second half of the 1950s, became part of the Zvenigorod factory of cultural goods in Moscow region.

Damages: re-glued finial of the white king, white pawn has chipped collar, hooks of the chessboard are not original.
