This beautiful but also functional spoon, carved from sustainable wood, can be used in everyday life, or it can become a wonderful decoration for your kitchen.

This cute eating spoon is hand carved from apricot wood with hand tools only. For its manufacture, I used: a hand saw to saw off the workpiece of the required length and make the necessary cuts; an ax to cut off everything superfluous (to make a blank for a spoon); knife for giving the final external shape of the spoon; and a hook knife or bent gouge, to cut out the inside of the bowl. The length of the spoon is approximately 195 mm, width is 52 mm.

The surface of the spoon is perfectly polished, this eliminates the raising of the pile when wet. To protect against moisture, the spoon is covered for several times with linseed oil and a special mastic made of linseed oil, beeswax and Carnauba wax. Therefore, this wooden apricot spoon is durable and easy to clean and maintain, and can be used daily.
