This sly fox is knitted based on a child’s drawing.

Most parts are knitted. Some parts are crocheted.

The fox can stand on its own, leaning on its tail (when using a wire frame). Height is about 20 inches (50 cm).

To make this pattern, you need:

*Orange, white, black and green yarn (I used wool blend yarn, 250 m/100g);

*Double pointed needles 3 mm;

*Knitting stitch holder;

*Safety pins;

*Crochet hook 2 mm;

*Wire for the frame;

*Hollow fiber stuffing;

*Sewing needle;

*Scissors.

Abbreviated terms used:

K – knit

M1 – make a stitch by lifting strand between stitches from front and knit in back of strand

P – purl

st – stitch

K2tog – knit 2 stitches together

P2tog – purl 2 stitches together

Sl1 – slip one stitch to the safety pin

MR – magic ring

ch – chain stitch

sc – single crochet

inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)

dec – decrease sc (2 sc together)

WS – wrong side
