Description/history of the order:
ORDER OF ST. STANISLAVA
The Polish Order was established in 1765. Its founder, King Stanisaw August Poniatowski was the namesake of the saint,
who gave the name to the new award. Krakow Bishop of the 11th century, Stanislav, was killed during a divine service right in the church
King Boleslav and later in the XII century., canonized and recognized as the patron of Poland.
The badge of the order was a cross of the Maltese type with balls at the ends and arches covering the deflections
covered with red enamel (on the front - black enamel), eagles are superimposed over the corners, in the center there is a monogram of two S
in a green rim. The monogram is also repeated on the star, where, in addition to the inscription, it is surrounded by laurel branches.
The ribbon of the order is red with a double white border.
