Beatrice is a strapless bustier. It is sewn from dense, non-elastic natural fabrics (linen, cotton). The bustier is lined with fine cotton.

All edges are finished with bias tape. You can also use a strap elastic to finish the back closure. If you don’t have one, you can also use a bias tape. Thus, you can do without special bra supplies.

Plastic bones are inserted along the front, side seams and along the back fastener. This allows you to keep in shape very well. You can wear this bustier under an off-the-shoulder dress. The bustier fastens with hooks and eyes.

The height of the band under the bust is 4 cm.

These measurements are different from the usual ones. For universal patterns, 2 measurements are taken – bust and under bust. Since I am making a personalized tailor made pattern, I need more measurements and they may not be familiar to you. Most likely, you have never taken such measurements. This is the difference in the design methodology.

Some measurements may be new and unfamiliar to you. But they are necessary to draw an exact individual pattern. Remember that the success of our venture depends entirely on accurate measurements.

Also, measurement notation is not familiar to you. I named them as they are entered in my program. Please pay attention!

You need to take the necessary measurements as indicated. Write down this information in the same form (number, measurement designation) and send it to me by e-mail. Processing of your order will begin only after I receive your letter. I will send you a pattern in PDF format within 2 working days from the date of receipt of your letter.

I use a system of individual measurements to create a personalized pattern because each person’s figure is unique. You can buy ready-made patterns according to the size described above (please note that measurements are in centimeters).

If you have not found the right size or you have some body features that require an individual approach, I can make personal patterns for you according to individual measurements. There is a special listing for this.

This pattern is at an easy/intermediate level. Previous sewing experience is recommended.

Materials and supplies:

*Paper pattern;

*Sewing machine;

*Scissors;

 *Sewing thread;

*Natural fabric (linen, cotton; 0.5-0.7 m of each type ̶ for the top and for the lining);

*Strap elastic (about 40 cm/16 inches);

*Interfacing material (batting, etc);

*12 plastic corset bones or whalebone;

*Hook and eye (I used 6 pairs);

*Bias tape maker to make the bias tape 12 mm (1/2 inch) wide; patchwork cutting mat and rotary cutter. If you don’t have these tools, you can do without them. Then you need to cut the fabric with scissors to make the bias tape, and do everything by hand.
