A beautiful Russian Orthodox icon depicting the Descent of the Holy Spirit with Virgin Mary, handmade & hand crafted by an expert monk hagiographer.

The Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles of our Lord, Jesus Christ, took place on the Pentecost, the fiftieth day after the Resurrection. It is celebrated as the "Birthday of the Church".

It is an exact reproduction of an antique Byzantine masterpiece.
