The lavender fields of Provence attract artists the world over. The beautiful lilac colour and lots of sunshine is a balm for the eyes. And I also love old architecture. This watercolour painting just brings together my favourite subjects. And there's a girl on the side on the left. That might be me in a past life, or it might be my granddaughter who is learning and teaching French. She will probably see this magnificence for herself soon.
