42mm yellow lens filter

Perfect condition. Fully operational. There are no scratches, cleavages, fungus. The rim has signs of use. Box is original.

Lenses "Industar-61L/D" and "Industar-26M" are not included and shown as an example of mount.

This filter has 42mm mount and is designed for popular USSR lenses: Jupiter-8 (both silver and black), Jupiter-8m, Jupiter-12, Industar-26m, Industar-61L/D, Industar-61, Helios-103, T-22 (on "Lubitel" TLR) and others.

Filter does not have a thread and is set on the lens with friction force only (close-up). So, if a lens has a strong dent, this filter is probably will not be fixed firmly.

The filter has three claws at the rim which regulate the lens capture. If necessary, bend them a bit inside and they will fix the filter firmly.

This is a classic yellow filter with medium power. Its aim is to weaken blue light and atmospheric haze. When taking picture of blue sky with clouds the filter intensifies contrast, blue sky becomes more gray. Also it strengthens the distinctness of far objects and contrast of shadows.

Yellow effect is expressed more when taking photo at natural light and less at artificial light.
If you need less powerful yellow filter, you can use ZhS-12 which has lighter effect.
