This is a 1950s longline bra pattern. It is sewn from a dense stable fabric; there is an insert of elastic fabric in the middle of the front. The cups are quilted.

Of course, overwires are needed for this bra. But since they're out of stock now, I've inserted metal bones along the edge of the cups.

I sewed a small size bra; maybe these metal bones are enough for the small size. However, I am not sure that this design will hold a large chest. It may be worth sewing on straps for a large size.

Some measurements may be new and unfamiliar to you. But they are necessary to draw an exact individual pattern. Remember that the success of our venture depends entirely on accurate measurements.
